reaktyvinis variklis statusas T sritis Gynyba apibrėžtis Tiesioginės reakcijos variklis; variklis, keičiantis tam tikrą pirminę energiją reaktyvinės srovės kinetine energija, kuri sukuria reaktyvinę trauką. Traukos jėga tiesiogiai veikia reaktyvinį variklį ir be jokių perdavimo mechanizmų užtikrina variklio ir su juo susijusio aparato judėjimą, kurio kryptis priešinga srovės veržimosi krypčiai. Reaktyviniai varikliai visiškai yra sutapę variklis ir varytuvas. Pagrindinė reaktyvinio variklio dalis – degimo kamera. Joje sukuriamos darbą atliekančios dujos (skystis), kurios pirminę energiją (cheminę, elektros, branduolinę) keičia mechaniniu reaktyvinio variklio darbu. Varytuvo funkciją atlieka reaktyvinė tūta. Pagrindiniai reaktyvinio variklio rodikliai: ↑reaktyvinė trauka, santykinis traukos impulsas, santykinė variklio masė, santykinis kuro sunaudojimas. Yra dvi pagrindinės reaktyvinio variklio rūšys – oriniai reaktyviniai varikliai, ↑raketiniai varikliai ir jų rūšys: turboreaktyvinis, turboventiliacinis, turbokompresorinis ir kt. atitikmenys: angl. ram jet engine rus. реактивный двигатель ryšiai: dar žiūrėkraketinis variklis dar žiūrėkreaktyvinė trauka
